Frequently Asked Questions
What Should You Do Before Your Spray Tan Appointment?
Wear loose, comfy clothing to your appointment — tight clothes can affect your fresh tan.
Exfoliate at least 4 hours before your session to help prep your skin and allow your pores time to close properly.
Shower, shave, and exfoliate before your appointment so your skin is clean, smooth, and ready for an even tan.
Try to schedule all other beauty treatments first, including nails, waxing, facials, and massages.
If you wax, do so at least 24 hours before your spray tan. This helps the tanning solution develop evenly on the skin.
How Long Does A Spray Tan Last?
Your glow will usually last between 5–7 days, depending on your skin type, aftercare routine, and how often you exfoliate. With the right care, your tan can last even longer — up to 10–12 days.
Will My Spray Tan Turn Orange?
Definitely not, babe. A natural-looking tan comes down to the correct colour match, proper application, and good prep + aftercare. Follow our guidelines and you’ll be left with a beautiful bronzed glow — never orange.
What Should I Wear To My Appointment?
Most babes prefer tanning nude to avoid tan lines, but you’re welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you’d like tan lines, a thin thong works best. If you choose to wear a bra, we recommend a strapless option.
After your appointment, change into loose-fitting clothing. Avoid tight bras, underwear, denim, leggings, socks, or anything restrictive. Flip flops are also a great idea.
When Can I Shower After My Spray Tan?
Avoid all moisture until your first rinse — this means no sweating, gym sessions, lotions, cleaning, or getting wet.
Your first shower should be around 6 - 8 hours after your appointment.
Don’t wait longer than 24 hours before rinsing off.
When showering, use lukewarm water with a gentle body wash and rinse using only your hands.
Avoid scrubbing, harsh soaps, or very hot water.
Pat your skin dry softly with a towel instead of rubbing.
Keep your hair dry for at least 8 hours after your tan.
How Long Does A Spray Tan Appointment Take?
The actual spray tan takes about 15–20 minutes, but we book out a full 30-minute slot so you never feel rushed and have time to feel comfortable.
Can I Still Tan In The Sun?
You can — but SPF is still a must, babe. A spray tan does not protect your skin from UV rays, so make sure you wear sunscreen to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
